Information we process
- Account information such as email, login provider, and profile fields.
- Messages you send, cards you draw or enter, and generated readings.
- Memories you add or allow the product to derive for continuity.
- Basic technical logs needed for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
Your controls
You can separately turn off long-term memory collection and reading, archive or delete conversations, and use temporary conversations that do not update long-term memory. Underlying fact, event, and relationship records are never displayed as a public profile. To request access, export, or deletion of account data, contact contact@tarotown.com.
Product analytics
TaroTown uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits, device types, navigation paths, and interface interactions so we can identify performance and usability problems. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and process related technical data under their own privacy policies. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information in free-text conversations.
Models and service providers
Relevant conversation content is sent to the selected model service to generate a response. Hosting, database, authentication, and security providers also support the product. They receive only the information needed for their role.
Subscriptions and compute usage
Stripe processes subscription checkout and payment methods. TaroTown receives the customer, subscription, and payment-status identifiers needed to provide Plus and administer subscriptions, but does not store full payment-card numbers. To calculate Free allowances, service cost, and abuse protections, we retain model route, token usage, price-version, and aggregated-cost data; the cost ledger does not contain conversation or memory text.
Retention and deletion
Account and conversation data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, protect its security, and meet legal obligations. Deletion requests enter our deletion process; copies in backups may remain for a limited period until normal rotation completes.
Information not to submit
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information in a tarot conversation.
